IWF UK pay tribute to her Majesty the Queen

We are saddened by the loss of HM Queen Elizabeth II, a global leader steadfastly devoted to the service of her people. She was a true role model for what great leaders are and do. Throughout her 70-year reign, she demonstrated dignity, compassion, wisdom, calmness and sound thinking.

Remarkably she held weekly meetings with Prime Ministers, spanning 15 during her reign, who were born 101 years apart; from Winston Churchill in 1874 to the newly elected, Liz Truss, born in 1975. And who can forget her sense of humour in meeting James Bond and Paddington Bear.
