With the warmer weather, sunshine and easing of some restrictions I hope you have been able to catch up with family and friends. Perhaps you’ve also taken advantage of the self-organised member “pop-up” events to go for a walk or have a coffee.
Starting out in a career in banking, Elisabeth received dismissive comments. This propelled her to prove her naysayers wrong and to achieve success in senior roles as well as bring up a family of four boys. She embraces diversity and inclusion in her professional and personal spheres which enhance her ability to lead and engage.
Leading by example and championing her teams, Beatrice not only survived the disruption of relocation and the global financial crisis, she and her teams bonded and thrived. She was recognised as one of the 100 Women to Watch in 2020 by Cranfield University.
We hope your spirit has been lifted by the joy of spring and celebrating festivities including Holi, Passover, Easter and Ramadan with loved ones. As our confidence grows with the roll out of vaccines and the lifting of restrictions we can see light at the end of the tunnel.
This month's guests include Geraldine Sharpe-Newton and Angela Holdsworth.
